Crowley's Ridge National Scenic Parkway
National scenic byway follows the 198-mile length of the Delta's only "highlands". From Piggott to Helena, the route passes by or near five state parks, a national forest, Civil War sites, the former home of Ernest Hemingway, historic homes, museums, rich agricultural areas, and the Delta Cultural Center. Mann House
The Mann House was designed by Charles L. Thompson in 1913. It is one of the most decorative and gracefully detailed of Thompson's Colonial Revival houses and is unique because its Colonial Revival features are allowed to stand alone, without the blend of Craftsman elements that characterize many of his later Colonial Revival designs. The house is listed on the National Historic Register.

Mount Vernon Cemetery
The oldest active cemetery in the county. It was originally started as a family cemetery but grew into a large cemetery with many prominent families buried here. Located at Highway 284.
St. Francis County Museum
Located in the restored, historic Rush-Gates home. Exhibits found here include the J.O. Rush relic collection, a reconstructed doctor's office, geology and fossils from Crowley's Ridge, county, veterans, and African-American history. Temporary and seasonal exhibits are on display year-round and it also serves as the central visitors center for the Crowley's Ridge National Scenic byway. Stuart Springs
Stuart Springs, the largest and best known of the three springs in the area (including Izard and Alum), furnished Forrest City and the surrounding communities with a fresh water supply until the 20th century. Stuart Springs was discovered before the Civil War by Professor James Stuart. During the Civil War soldiers camped near the springs, and many of the soldiers were reportedly treated with the medicinal waters. Stuart Springs is now a 16-acre park in Forrest City. Listed on the National Historic Register and located at Stuart Street.
Village Creek State Park
Located just 13 miles north of Forrest City is Arkansas' largest state park, Village Creek. This 7,000-acre park has pavilions, playgrounds, multi-use fields, hiking trails and a visitor center. It is also home to Lakes Dunn and Austell, a real treat for fishing enthusiasts with a steady yield of big, Florida-strain largemouth bass. Since 1987, over 100 bass weighing eight or more pounds have been caught in these lakes.
