Beaver Lake
With 487 miles of shoreline highlighted by limestone bluffs, Beaver Lake offers a world of recreational opportunities. Marinas and outfitters are plentiful. Bud Walton Arena
This arena is host to the Razorback basketball games since 1993. Devil's Den State Park
Devil's Den State Park is nestled in a picturesque valley in northwest Arkansas's Ozarks Mountains. The mountain stream forms a peaceful 8-acre lake in the heart of the park, perfect for fishing and canoeing, before cascading over a rugged native stone dam that stretches across the creek. Fayetteville Confederate Cemetery
The Cemetery was started in 1872 by the Southern Memorial Association of Washington County, which paid to have the remains of Confederate casualties at Pea Ridge and Prairie Grove, as well as from less-storied combats, removed and interred in what remains a picturesque and moving site. Old Main & Senior Walk
Old Main, completed in 1875, stands as the centerpiece of the University of Arkansas campus. Senior Walk contains the names of more than 120,000 graduates, beginning with the first class (1876) inscribed at the foot of the Old Main steps. It is a unique tradition among American colleges and universities, covering nearly five miles of paved walks throughout the campus. Originally stamped by hand, the names are now etched by a machine known as the Senior Sand Hog, invented in 1986 by University Physical Plant employees. Ozark Military Museum
The museum has 15 military vehicles including models of the familiar Willys Jeep, WWII WC-54 Ambulance, Korean M37 3/4-ton cargo truck, and a British Ferret light armored scott car. The museum has two flying aircraft. The first is a WWII Aeronca L-3 observation aircraft. The second is the Beech 3NM (Twin Beech) know as the "CANADIAN QUEEN".
